Lawyer by the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, with master’s studies in Competition and Intellectual Property Law from the same university. He has also completed postgraduate studies in arbitration, government procurement and Public-Private Partnerships.
He has more than 20 years of experience in judicial litigation and arbitration in matters related to commercial and corporate law, competition, as well as Government Procurement.
He has been a commissioner and advisor to the Legal Directorate of the National Institute for the Defense of Competition and the Protection of Intellectual Property (INDECOPI). He became head of the Legal Advisory Office of the Supervisory Agency for Government Procurement (OSCE) and Secretary of the OSCE Procurement Tribunal.
