Joseph is Lawyer at Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Perú, executive MBA at the Universidad del Pacífico / ESADE in Barcelona, and Master in International Business at Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona. He is a certified Customs Broker by the Peruvian Customs Authority.
He was Director in the Tax and Legal Department of PWC, leading the customs and international trade practice. Before he became Manager at EY´s Peru Global Trade and Indirect Taxes department.
He has extensive experience in customs planning, customs procedures, compliance reviews, due diligence procedures and consulting. Also, he is versed on the tax impact of the international commerce operations (Transfer pricing, VAT, indirect taxation).
He is a member of the Peruvian Institute of Tax Law, the Peruvian chapter of the International Fiscal Association (IFA) and the Peruvian Customs Law and International Trade Association (APDACI).
